Fund

Welcome to this website which explains the aims and purpose of the Copeland Tragedy Fund. The fund was set up to offer immediate help to those who have been affected by this tragedy. In particular, the families of those who lost their lives and of those who were injured. It aims to respond, speedily and easily in a discreet and confidential way to those who require financial support for practical and emotional needs. Obviously, the demand on the fund will only become clear in the coming weeks and months. Its operation will be reviewed regularly by the small voluntary management group. It is envisaged that, eventually, any unused funds will be used, following consultation with the communities involved, to fund memorial projects.

Thank you, for your interest and support.

Rev. John Bannister
